We have a huge inventory in store with brands such as DeWalt and Milwaukee. If you can't find what you're looking for in store you can order it through our website and it will be delivered to the store and will be available for pickup or delivery.

Visit the “World's Largest Hardware Store” through our online catalog, from Power Tools to Plumbing & Bathroom fixtures: showers, bathtubs and toilets, to Farm & Ranch fencing, chain, tractor parts. If you can’t find it at our store, you can find it here and have it shipped to the store for pick-up; some items can be shipped directly to your house if preferred.

130 years ago…

Scott-Taylor began their sawmill and lumber distribution in 1887, the location where Carlson Building Supplies now stands. Scott Taylor Company produced a good portion of the structural lumber for buildings for Ashland, WI around the early 1900's. What started as a sawmill and kiln and distributor has grown into what we focus on today, continuing to serve our customers and providing premium products.

In 1980, local contractor Boyd Carlson saw a need for more affordable building supplies in the Ashland area, so he started Carlson Building Supplies. He really viewed it as a ministry, not just a business; he truly wanted to help people. Grandsons Ben and Josh Illick carry on that legacy by providing homeowners and contractors with premium building materials.
